Hangar Shortage

Arizona has the best flying weather in the country and as more people move out here, hangars are difficult to          get. Scottsdale Airport now has an astounding 20-year-wait for a hangar! There are over 100 people on a         waiting list just to get a hangar or rent space at Carefree Skyranch-and there is none available at this time. In        2005, one large 50 x 50 hangar was  auctioned off for $430,000!  A small hangar with a bi-fold door was sold in January, 2007, for $ 405,000.  The owner had previously turned down $ 440,000!
