When a member of David Letterman's staff ran across a copy of our "Stay Alive" survival videos, they knew it was perfect for Letterman's feature on instructional videos, where he showcases funny excerpts and has a humorous line.  They called and asked permission to feature a segment on signaling an aircraft for help.  Years later, on the CBS show "Survivor", contestants used our same trick.  Here, Channel 5 features both stories.
