  Former President Jimmy Carter in an unbroadcast exchange where he raved about the Arizona Diamondbacks.  This was before the actual segment aired. He was actually in town to promote his novel on the revolutionary war, and while I was never a fan of the former president politically, I found him to be one of the most compassionate people I have  ever met.
