Gold Hill mine featured on TV! Arizona has Gold Fever! When the price of gold broke through the $ 1900/oz. threshold, buyers and investors were scrambling to find good sources of gold. An Australian group purchased a Sierra Nevada gold mine for $ 20 million dollars and will re-open it soon. Carefree homes have seen a 9.3% increase in sales value the last year, Scottsdale's nearby zipcode of 85262 has increased 12.7% Bank sales are now less than 1/3 of all sales in the Phoenix area. In Carefree over the last year, homes have sold for 96% of their asking price! On June 30th, over 2,200 homes were sold in the Phoenix area--an all-time record! Valleywide, in Maricopa County, where we had nearly 60,000 properties available several years ago, which includes all townhomes, condos and homes, the number has now shrunk to 18,200.
