Stellar Air Park, (p19) is a public airport on the South side of the Greater Phoenix area. Realtor/Pilot Preston Westmoreland was the radio voice of Stellar Airpark Estates for years and knows the area well. There were many improvements done when the developers started the gated portion of Stellar, including adding runway lights the entire length and improving drainage on the field. The runway is in Chandler and features a length of 3913 feet with a width of 60 feet.

Mazatzal AirPark, adjacent to the public and full-service Payson Airport, is located about a mile high in the pines. The airpark is accessed through a coded gate on the West end of the airfield. Payson Airport has fuel, FBO's, a popular restaurant and interesting attractions nearby, such as the Tonto Bridge State Park, as well as access to hiking and wilderness areas in the Mogollon Rim area.
